Terms of Service (DRAFT, not reviewed by a lawyer)

  1. Who we are. SoonerSlot is operated by Hallows Group LLC, a Texas limited liability company. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting for U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), the Department of Homeland Security, or any government agency. We are not a trusted-traveler enrollment provider, do not process applications, and cannot influence approval or interview scheduling.
  2. Eligibility. You must be 18 or older, or have a parent's or guardian's consent. The service is for personal use in the U.S., Canada or Mexico.
  3. What you buy. For a one-time fee of $14.00, we email you when interview availability matching your choices appears in CBP's public scheduler, for 90 days from payment. We check each center you choose roughly every 5 minutes, using one shared request per center for all subscribers. Stopping alerts early ends the service and does not extend or refund the remaining period, except as stated in Refunds. Alerts are sent by email; delivery can be delayed or filtered by your email provider. We do not book appointments, do not access your CBP or Login.gov account, and never ask for your login or personal identifiers beyond an email address.
  4. No guarantee. We do not guarantee that any slot will appear, that an alert will arrive in time, or that you will be able to book. Availability data comes from CBP and may be delayed, incomplete or wrong. If CBP changes, restricts or objects to access to its public availability data, we may suspend or end the service immediately; in that case we will refund your fee in full.
  5. Refunds. (a) No-match guarantee: if we detect no slot matching your choices during your coverage period, email sales@hallowsgroup.com within 30 days after the period ends for a full refund. (b) Early refund: within 7 days of purchase, if you have received no alert, you may request a full refund, and alerts will stop. (c) Service ended by us: see No guarantee. Refunds go to the original payment method through Stripe within 10 business days. One refund per purchase.
  6. Acceptable use. Personal use only. Don't resell alerts, use them to book appointments for others for a fee, use automated means to scrape our site, or use our alerts to violate CBP rules. We may cancel and refund accounts that violate this.
  7. Disclaimer of warranties. THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
  8. Limitation of liability. To the extent permitted by law, Hallows Group LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including missed appointments, travel costs or lost time, and our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you. Nothing here limits rights you have under the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act or other non-waivable consumer law.
  9. Termination. You may stop alerts at any time using the link in any email. We may suspend or end the service as described above.
  10. Changes. We may update these terms by posting a new version with a new effective date; the version in effect when you paid governs that purchase.
  11. Governing law and venue. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas and applicable U.S. federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Travis County, Texas, except that either party may bring an individual claim in small-claims court. This does not deprive consumers outside Texas of the protection of mandatory local consumer law.
  12. Entire agreement; severability. These terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement about the service. If any part is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
